From the first quarter of 2026 the Duisburg terminal serves as the European end point of our rail corridor. Previously containers were handed to third-party operators for stripping, which added two to four days.
What changes for clients
- Container stripping on the day the train arrives
- Groupage consignments join European line-hauls the same day
- Import clearance handled on site
- Temporary container storage without moving between terminals
At the same time the project logistics engineering department has grown from four to nine specialists. That allows route surveys to run in three countries simultaneously and shortens out-of-gauge preparation by an average of six days.
