Why GLIDEX
We do not sell kilometres. We sell an executed plan: an agreed date, a fixed cost and paperwork without remarks.
We never hand cargo “further down the chain”. One manager owns the shipment from pickup to a signed proof of delivery, and that person owns the deadline.
1 менеджер / 1 shipment
Every estimate breaks out freight, terminal charges, duties and add-ons as separate lines. An undetailed all-in rate is the fastest route to a surprise invoice at the end.
Classification, sanctions screening and document review happen before booking. A mistake found at the border costs eight to twelve times more than one corrected during preparation.
Direct contracts with ocean carriers, airlines and rail operators. Fewer links mean fewer points where cargo can stop without explanation.
42 hubs · 74 countries
Every shipment has a number, a status and an event history. You do not see “in transit” but the actual node, the timestamp and a revised ETA.
Every routing has an alternative on the shelf: a different crossing, a different port, a different mode. When the primary leg stops, we do not start looking for a solution — we switch to one.
Industries
Pharma, retail, manufacturing and energy differ in temperature, insurance and customs requirements.
Supply tied to planograms and seasonal peaks: strict DC receiving windows and penalties for missed dates.
RetailHigh-frequency small consignments, returns and a demand for predictable last-mile delivery.
E-commerceJust-in-time supply to a production line where an hour of downtime costs tens of thousands of euros.
AutomotiveRaw materials, components and machinery — from recurring containers to a one-off production line import.
ManufacturingTransformers, turbines and substation equipment with permits, escorts and installation readiness.
EnergySeasonal volumes, phytosanitary requirements and export through port transhipment.
AgricultureA GDP-compliant cold chain with validated packaging and a complete temperature archive.

Process
Ten stages, each with an owner, a deadline and a document at the end.
You send the routing, cargo parameters and a target date. A manager acknowledges within an hour.
We check dimensions, hazard class, temperature requirements and route restrictions.
We prepare two or three schemes with different cost-to-time trade-offs.
We fix the slot on the vessel, train or flight and confirm the equipment.
The vehicle arrives in the agreed window and cargo condition is photographed.
Consolidation, container stuffing or ULD build-up depending on the mode.
The main leg runs under monitoring, with alerts on any ETA change.
Declaration, duty settlement, inspection attendance and release.
Delivery to the consignee address in the agreed receiving window.
Signed documents archived, invoice issued, any claim opened.

We moved to GLIDEX after two schedule failures with a previous provider. In a year we have not missed a single DC receiving window. The difference is that they call about a problem before it becomes ours.
Importing a production line is a project rather than a shipment. Their engineering survey found a bridge that would not have taken the load. The routing changed two weeks before dispatch and we commissioned on schedule.
For us the temperature archive matters more than speed. GLIDEX supplies the full logger profile with every batch, which is exactly what our auditor asks for.
Rail from Xi’an gave us what neither sea nor air could: a predictable transit at an acceptable cost. Over a year the maximum deviation has been three days.
The itemised estimate was the most valuable part. For the first time we saw what terminal handling actually costs and where we had been overpaying for years.
We ship hazardous classes, so paperwork is our main risk. Here the safety data sheet is checked before booking rather than at the terminal. In two years we have had no refusals.
