Dismantling, transport and installation readiness of an edge-banding line from Bavaria to a plant near Zhytomyr — 34 pieces, four out of gauge.
The client bought a used line that had to be dismantled within nine days before the seller vacated the hall, and delivered without slipping an installation window fixed to a specific week.
We ran an engineering survey, produced a dismantling plan with every assembly labelled, split the consignment into four transport units by dimension and synchronised their arrival with foundation readiness.

Preparation
The original routing passed through a small town with a weight-restricted bridge. The survey showed the low-bed carrying the heaviest assembly would not pass. We shifted the route by 61 km and added one night leg — cheaper than approving a temporary bridge reinforcement.
Dismantling
Every assembly received a unique code, a photograph in situ and a sequence marker. That is not a transport requirement — it is what allowed the fitters to rebuild the line without manufacturer drawings, which the client did not have.
Customs
The biggest risk was not on the road but in the valuation. We commissioned an expert residual-value report before shipment and filed it with the declaration. The customs value was accepted without adjustment, saving the client roughly EUR 41,000 against reference pricing.
The line arrived on site in two batches 48 hours apart. Installation started on the planned Monday, with no damage and no claims.
